RS6 US VIN Compilation.....

Here's my VIN! Last six digits are: 904870.

It's a USA spec RS6, July 2003 build date. Avus silver, white leather with black pin striping. Bone stock, 101,000 miles. Lives in Palo Alto, California. Sold and lived in California it's whole life...

I am super happy with it so far. So how many vins for the USA spec cars are there? If we've got around 500, that's impressive. In fact I'd say that probably represents the majority of those cars tha are still roadworthy after 8 years...

Initially there was thought to be 850-860 in the US with 90+ going to Canada.
When the DRC recall campaign, there were figures on the header of the official document of 1450/1460 in the US.

So who really knows except for A.o.A...

I would have thought, looking at the photos, that this was an A6 4.2 due to the rims... but the VIN is a WUA...
