    You really haven't lived until....

....you R&R an AWD transmission from a German engineered car....on your back. And accessing TC Torx head bolts through a small alcove after removing the starter. GREAT design.... >puke<

Swapping the hulk on my S6 wagon. A host easier than the RS6 though as you can still leave the engine in situ and access all the bolts that mount it to the engine just fine. Just REALLY heavy. And what engineer in their right mind couldn't have put an access hole in the bellhousing on the same side as you need to be on to install the TC bolts? I mean really, would that be too much to ask? Not a big deal if you're doing the job with a buddy, but when you're doing it solo, you have to get up and down to move from side to side to gently rotate the TC with the end of your finger one one side while trying to see the mount align with the flyweel on the otherside. Then if you're lucky after a half dozen times, the planets align. Her's a BIG thumbs up to you Audi Engineering - NOT.

    '02 S6 Avant Silver - Pokey | Carbon Black/Ebony RS6 w/ stuff - darn quick | '03 Daytona Grey/Ebony RS6 w/ more stuff - quicker yet | '91 NSX CDN issue with 6spd & BBSC - quicker yet and then some | '87 Buick GNX OEM clone w/ lots of stuff - quickest hands down
