Bentleys are cheaper now to buy new (Conti GT) than any of their previous models. - Arnage, Turbo R etc.
They are perhaps selling too well and diluting the brands exclusivity a bit.
To ease capacity limits at Crewe they have even switched some production of LHD models to VWs Dresden factory
I note none of the U.K destined Bentleys are built in Germany (Bentleys not a Bentley unless its built in Britain, old boy)
This way or another, they are selling lot's of them and making lot's of money.
Maybe they loose exclusuvity, but on the other hand they are making mre money to invest in their future projects and make their car even more exeptional.
Does this remind you of any other car company that brought out a car which some said would cheapen the brand and not sell.
aka. Porsche Cayenne and just look what it has done to their money pockets, buying a very big percentage of VW.
Exclusivity is great but only if you are still making money.
Search and you will find the truth.
Bentley is making money, so is Porsche.
In my opinion they heve enough exlusivity.
Sorry!
