Hey guys I have an rs6 avus silver with pearl effect with 50,000 miles. I have bought this car and I've never seen anything like it. I did some research the guy who owned it was a famous Audi specialist. Has anyone ever seen an rs6 like this before?

Sorry but I have to just say sorry. There are some great side mount intercooler replacements for the OEM intercoolers. Granted you can get a real efficient FMIC for much less than the Side mounted ones but then this isn't a cheap car and one that in my opinion shouldn't be treated that way.

Here we go again.... Another ruined quality ride. The A4 & S4 tuner crowd do this all the time because their car never came with suitable engineering to tastefully locate intercoolers within the confines of the bumper. Doing it to the RS6 is simply tasteless IMO. It's not more functional contrary to popular belief. OEM intercoolers can be replaced witih air-to-water units in the same OEM locations, or you can run after market units that have a thicker cooling area along with minor improvements in upper and lower bowls. I've not seen any tests to confirm, so can't comment on whether or not there is any noticeable gain in performane from the OEM set-up.

Yes you're right I bought the car recently and I haven't looked at it much yet. Gonna get it on a dyno soon but it does have a race tranny
Unless it has larger turbos and different cams, there is NO way it's pushing 650hp....
Sure it does..... Because we ALL know that the 5Tip in this car is the best performing tranny ever. Using "race tranny" and RS6 in the sentance is an oxymoron - period.
BTW. Welcome aboard. Car will provide hours of enjoyment and depending on your luck, just as many of frustration....

The only "race tranny" that exists for the RS6, is one that you shift yourself...and it has 7 different positions...6 forward and 1 reverse...
Well, the best that you could do is to return it to SMIC (side mounted intercooler) and enjoy it!
The Audi engineers are top notch.
If you keep the FMIC, it tends to attract racers that have fart cans installed.
I would check the entire drive train and all mounts and fluids and tires and rotors and pads and filters and plugs.
Can you elaborate on the "racing transmission" (not sure what a tranny is...)?

Im gonna leave it like that maybe do some things to fix it up because the silicone hoses pop out cause it gets hot out plus it expands plus it puts out boost.
