The clutch can definitely be "grabby", it's been slowly getting better, but with 10K miles, it's probably as good as it's going to get. In most driving it's fine, the only time I still find it annoying is starting from a stop while going uphill. It doesn't like to slip for any length of time, so trying to engage it gently is going to make it chatter.. That said, starting on flat or mild incline is fine. Once your rolling, it's also fine.
