My 60 minutes with the Audi RS4

Hi fellow Audi friends. I wrote this especially for germancarzone.com, but I bet many of you here would like to read this aswell. Enjoy.

Hmm..where should I start? It¡¦s been several hours since I drove that car, and I¡¦m still walking around with a smile. To day was really like a dream come true. I¡¦ve been following the RS4 from the very first start, and it has been my dream car since day 1 it got shown. It¡¦s not often that you actually get a chance to drive such a powerful vehicle. I know I¡¦ve been wanting to drive the RS4 B5 for 5 years now, but never got a chance. My most powerful Audi I have driven until today, was a 335 hp tuned S4 BiTurbo.
Anyways, I asked Audi 5 months ago, if there would ever be an oppurtunity of testdriving the new Audi RS4. They said that they will have a ¡¨S Power Tour¡¨ that will hit my town in the beginning of september, and to have a chance to testdrive the most powerful Audis, you should sign up. And so I did directly.
    And today came the day.
When we arrived at the Audi Center in Malmoe, you could see 5 silver cars with ¡¨S Power Tour¡¨ written on the side. It was a scene that you not often can even imagine. To see Audi S8, Audi S6, Audi RS4, Audi S4 Cabriolet and Audi Allroad next to eachother like that. Also next to them was a black new TT.
Well, I had 60 minutes with the RS4. I got a very kind man to go with me on the drive.
Just when I sat in the car..you felt that those seats just grabbed you. It was an incredible feeling only that. Then, after some words, it was time to turn the key, and push that ¡¨Start Engine¡¨ button. Wrrrrooooooooaaammmmmmm! Ohh¡Kgod what a sound!
Then we pulled away calmly from the Audi Center, and out on the road.I think I was going about 30km/h when I decided to give it a full throatle¡K And¡K That moment¡K I can easily say¡K Was undesctibable. Sure I can imagine the rich people driving their Lambos and Ferraris and all those exotic cars. But me, a normal person, with a normal salary, this really was a very special time¡K When I pushed that gas pedal to the bottom¡K. Oh my god. It was like a lion..or a bear..o I don¡¦t know what! You just felt soooo much power and wrooooooooooooooom¡KAway like a rocket. Up to 65 km/h in the 1st gear..in with the 2nd to 120km/h¡K And still it is just roaring like hell!!! I was shaking! It was like actually drive a rollercoaster. During those 60 minutes, I was enjoying every single one of them. I just couldn¡¦t stop pushing the car over and over¡K It was something I knew I wouldn¡¦t do for a long time again. In the middle of all that, I was also filmed by my friend, to give you a little inside info of what it looked like. We also stopped and took some pictures. What a beats!! I mean, not only the INCREDIBLE engine¡K but everything else. The exterior.. I mean, what a freakin hot car. It¡¦s low, phat, wide¡K. Ahh. And the interior just amazed me so much! I really looove the stearing wheel! The mocca around it and that little aluminum in the bottom. Just perfect. I now udnerstand why people have named this car the ultimate driving machine. Those 60 minutes passed pretty fast, and we had to go back to the Centre. When we arrived, I also got a chance to actually sit in the S8, equipped with the cheramic breaks and the B&O sound system. I also got to start the engine on that beast. I filmed everything for you all. I just had to show you this. This is something very incredible. The S8 is HUGE. And it¡¦s so sexy and phat! This must be the nr maffia car ƒº And the sound syatem¡K oh gosch.. .And that interior¡K Wow. I could go on and on, but I don¡¦t think you need to hear that. I mean, it¡¦s a freakin AUDI S8 we are talking about here ƒº The sound of the V10 is also amazing. You just gotta experience that to really understand it.
Other impressive cars that I took a closer look on, was the Audi S6. Those l-e-d lights in front are soooo hot! I also checked out the S4 Cabriolet. It looks so nice and smooth compare to the RS4. Okay, I will shut my mouth now, and show you some movies and also pics. Hope you could feel my happiness at least a bit

Thank you! I have tried that RS4 Avant before.

    What can I say?

Silver is a really nice color.

Especially when it's on an Audi

Thank you very much for your report and efforts.

AudiTumbo, excellent report! I know exactly what you mean about the slow car once you got home. After driving the RS 6 on the Autobahn in Germany, then comming home to my Accord... well, the rest is history.
