New BMW 5

Just seen the pictures of the new BMW 5 series....Think it's just UGLY !(no good proportions, ugly interior,... it's sort of a little 7. Am I the only one who thinks It's just an awful car?

Let me know because i'm shocked

I think it takes a great deal to get use to as well. Definitely a different turn in the styling perspective. *Maybe*eventually we'll get more comforatable with the design

The rear stance looks quite aggressive, but the rear lights are too generic looking, but overall the car does grow more on me seeing more and more new pics of it.

Hmm yes... these are all nice pics but i there all with big wheels ,special foto techniques,....

I think that when you'll see it driving at the streets with normal wheels and other normal things it will look a lot less good..

For me it was the same with the bmw 7... ugly but I could live with it... but when i first saw it on the street....

think the line bmw is going for is going to attract less people... just look at the 7... isn't a great succes

you say the rear lights look "too generic". not at all. they look
EXACTLY like the KIA RIO tail lights. man, even the way the
deck lid line comes down on to the quarters. looks just like a
RIO. and i thought the FRONT looked like the KIA

The rear end on the A6 Sedan is ugly, after all this years I still HAVE problems with it. The Avant is better looking but the sedan needs a facelift.
Better up, a new A6 sedan....please

Ben, by generic my meaning is that it does not look very unique especially to a car like a BMW. See what I mean?




Andreas, I agree with you re: the A6 sedan lights, personally think the Avant version is prettier. Just MHO.

I think the rear lights of the new 5 serie are inspired by the peugeot 406.

I must see him first to give a decision but on the picture he looks not so well.

I hope the new A6 will kicks the 5's ass by styling

I saw a video of the new 5-series yesterday.
Apart from the front lights which will take some getting used to it looked really nice.
