price is high for that kind of mileage and color.
Believe it or not, that price (with that mileage) is Kelley Blue Book WHOLESALE price!!! So actually, that's a good price.Originally posted by pyiu

Don't hate me, but I think that colour looks pretty good!
When I got mine, I thought a long time about the Goodwood Green, and only went with the Mugello blue because my previous S4 20v was Emerald green metallic, and I thought a change was in order.

I have no problem with Green, but as you say, you had the Emerald green, a much better shade.Originally posted by gregoryindiana

Goodwood is too "yellow" and muddied. I like the darker, richer greens.

Aww come on. I like my new Goodwood green RS6. It's unique, will buff out beautifully and folks have been complimenting it constantly. I've had it a couple of days.
Initial Impressions:
Quite harsh ride. My other car is an e46 M3 with 500 lb/inch springs and it rides fabulous compared to this. Seems to be a lot of compression damping combined with 255/35-18 Goodyears. 255/40-18 Michelin PS-2s go on next week. I'm pretty much already used to the ride, though. Love the interior; seats are comfortable and the car is quiet at speed.
Dealer significantly overfilled the engine oil. Almost to the top of the upper orange plastic piece. Why is this so prevelant? Consequences?
Also has a nice oil leak as well. Appears to be transmission. Two six inch puddles on the floor of my garage already. Unacceptable.
Sirius module to be installed next week. I think I can live with the minimal features of the nav system for a while. Might upgrade later.
Happy to join the family!
Joe
JOe,
Did you buy the above shown car or another?
Edit: opened eyes and saw the title... nevermind.

Current Audi: 2002 S6, Amulet Red
Past Audi's: 78 Fox, 80 4k, 82 5k turbo, 87 5k turbo, 86 4kQ, 87 4Kq with Turbo conversion, 91 200 20V with monster chip.
The special engine oil required for the RS6 is sold in liters; the US manuals list the capacity in quarts. If they put in the number of liter bottles required, thinking they are putting in quarts, an overfill will result. Now, in defense of the dealers, apparently the listed fill of oil is low. e So, if I understand it correctly, that partly offsets the liter/quart differential, and you end up with the degree of overfill you see.Originally posted by Radiation Joe

Haven't seen anyone complain of consequences to the overfill. Most likely once the engine is running, and some of that oil is circulating, you would not have a problem with a slight overfill. Some cars in the past (Porsche 944 comes to mind) were advissed to overfill a quart for track or autocross work to avoid starving the engine of oil in cornering.
The manual warns of oil being ingested, with lowered air/fuel mixture octane, detonation, not to mention the catalytic convertor being in line for trouble. As I say, haven't heard of this problem cropping up.
Wish I could say the same for the DRC suspension; but I am sure you've kept abreast of that whole thing.
