    Q7 review (5th Gear)

The Q7 (4.2) is being reviewed on 5th gear. Torrent can be found here.

It will be on video.google.com real soon I think.

In case you didn't know. There are already a lot of Q7 reviews on video.google.com

Will keep an eye on the Fifth Gear one and search on other sites.

Thanks for the link Johan. Seen all the videos on the first page but definately never saw the "American Idiot" video or the Japanese "Love Story" one...:trash:

Http download for the ones interested. Haven't downloaded it myself, so I don't know about the quality.

The first time I saw it in the fresh, I wasn't sure about the nose. Looked a bit boaty, but the more I see it the more I like. And the other day I got to drive a LHD model which was on loan for a few days to the dealer from Audi UK.

A year ago the brother had a Cayenne S with air suspension and I would rate the Q7 a better drive. Quieter and if anything more sure footed and a bit more pointy if you know what I mean, steering is quite light but I reckon you would get on to it in time. It feels about the best put together Audi to date and that includes the A8, it might be a size thing. I still think the X5 will handle better, but from memory the difference seems small and the gains the Q7 has in all other areas more than make up the difference.

Yes at the minute you are looking at the king. :king:
Search and you will find the truth.

btw Q is about 11 cm shorter than A8 and about 9 cm wider and, compared to new A6 Avant, only 15 cm longer than A8 and about 13 cm wider ....

So, it is not as "big" as it may look ...

Ok, ok, so I exaggerate slightly... it was 42 minutes. And that was with DSL!!! Maybe like our cars, we Americans get watered down internet to boot!

    Johan ,

Thanks for posting the link. Great video. Will show the Q7 portion to the Mrs. Especially liked the "old" kit car racing, very nice. The car wash guy was stupid expensive (but did a spot on job) and the crash between the SUV and the Renault was great as well.
