I hope that increasing Q7 output doesn't further strain Audi's production capacity or hurt quality on other new models. They're rolling out a lot of new cars in a short time period and boosting production numbers like that puts pressure on the whole enterprise.

Yep, that is a whole lot! I'm also a little concerned about QC issues. Same story at quattro GmbH last lear when talking to staff. Doubling the workforce in only 2 years time... that means a lot of effort will be needed to maintain quality.

I would not be regarding the Q7. They had more than 6 months after the presentation in Frankfurt 2005 to test it in public, and they did (regular test program, celebrity events, Dubai Driving experience,...).Originally posted by Benman
