Audi want to catch up to BMW and Mercedes with 9 new classes and 40 models.

One of them is a new coupe between A6 and A8, called A7 Coupe, which will compete with Mercedes' CLS. According to AMS a first concept will be shown at the LA Motor Show this november.

The A3 Cabrio and A5 Cabrio will come 2008, a small SUV also 2008 and the roadjet for the upper middle-sized class will come in 2009.

    Source for all infos: AMS.

We don't even have a LA Motorshow in November? In January we do, maybe they mean that one?

    Ok, maybe it's a typo.
I've now searched for the LA Auto Show and i've read that the next one begins on 1st December 2006.

2006 is a special year -- two LA Auto Shows. It's a fluke. The first 2006 show was the one in January, as in past years. The second one will be December 1-10, 2006 at the LA Convention Center.

From now on, the LA Auto Show will be in late November or early December. Starting in 2007, there will be no more January show. Basically, LA wanted to move the show forward to avoid competing with Detroit in January and to get a jump on debuts and concept cars.

So, mark your calendars for December '06. Maybe some Audi surprises. :cool2:

Well that makes sense and its about time! Been going for 15 years straight, and every year, its the same story, "Oh that car's not here cause we had to save it for Detroit"!:trash:

The basic shape is nice but I'm really hoping it doesn't have that "Bling Ring" under the front headlights...

Yuck. Too much like the latest fat front designs coming out of Detroit. Emphasize engine size, sure, but the high door line and high front grill combine to make it look off balanced and crass. Much prefer the new TT or R8 to this A7 pic.
