Hi John, good to see you over here and I'm glad you're still enjoying the RS. I'm not jealous, honest!

Something's wrong here. I might be driving the sedan version but even with 5 big guys in the car we can still feel the torque (that's over a thousand pound of meat in the car!) So I can't see how the cab version (even if heavier) would feel so untorquey!
Have you had it checked?

Hi,
new to the forums.
from NEW ZEALAND
2007 RS4 Avant, avus silver
just replaced my 2003 S4 Avant man.
Hello everyone,
Have just bought a September 07 Rs4 in Sprint Blue Metallic !!
I have lusted over this car since driving one at Silverstone at the launch of the R8, it looks fantastic from every angle and, you don't see dozens of them on the road, unlike the M3.
I have NEVER driven anything like it and can't wait to get it "on track" later this year.
I know it's a long way off but what am I going to replace this fantastic machine with ? !!!
Another 1 here chaps.
Picking mine up on this friday , traded in the S4 for it.. I have fallen in love with motoring again.
Proud new owner of B7 RS4
One word... awesome!!!

Hi all,
I just joined the forum. One RS4 from Japan, Tokyo.
I got my Phantom Black RS4 (yr 07) with silver leather interior (comfort package) last month !! I used to be a huge fanatic of BMW, so far I drove a BMW 318 Msport MT, 330 Ci Cab (AT, Imola Red) and finally the BMW E46 M3 phoenix yellow (SMG). The 3 series I've driven so far were all amazing cars and the M3's 6 cyl engine is just great.
Reasons why I've bought the RS4 ?
1) Wanted to drive a manual car again
2) The new M3 was my first choice but the RS4's engine sound killed me !
3) Exterior design is just great, I've always been a big fan of sport sedans
4) Could not forget AWD great stability, my first car was a Subaru Legacy B4 2.0 Twin Turbo.
After a month of driving this beast everyday, I still need to get used to the clutch and the way the engine rev, it's so different from my previous M3 which engine rev'ed more naturally I think.
But needless to say this car is amazing and traffic jam is not a pain at all.
I often go to mountain roads, and the car reaction is so sharp and you never feel unsafe thanks to the 40:60 AWD and the Michelin PS2 I just bought.
Cheers dude,
yes< I am still up for the meet.. have sent you PM
