    Nice Write up.

Did you catch the FULL SIZED SPARE TIRE SPACE> LOL <

A little S car history as well, but no mention of the RS6! Strange.

And No DRC system in the new S6! Wonder why?

No surprise there: Audi AG did the write up. Still, sounds like a great car. A shame it costs so much, though. (Nearly US$100k?! )

LOL. Gee, I wonder why?? Indeed.

Seriously though, despite the troubles, Audi will not give up on it just yet.

And it's not in the S6 cause the S6 is made by Audi and DRC is only for quattro cars.

    It is a Quattro, from the article;

    Power and control

Typically for an Audi, the new Audi S6 takes quattro permanent four-wheel drive as its basis

    Ben,
    Please explain that?
What makes a car a Quattro Car?
    Or are you just kidding?
I have heard the term before, but I thought that was all the awd Audi's?

Bingo. Audi GmbH (S4, S6, S8) does not use DRC on their cars. It is exclusive to the quattro GmbH cars (RS 4, RS 6).

Oops, sorry for not catching that.

    Aronis,
Yes, quattro on the car indicates "all wheel drive"

Thanks, I figured he was referring to a subsidiary......but thought the term quattro was being used in another way! Like the term "ur quattro". Some of the terminology escapes me!

UR meaning origional, the only true use should be with the origional quattro in my humble opinion, but it has been used for the URs4 meaning the 92-95 cars and a few others.
But if you use it that way you guys all have a "UR" RS6.

    See my point?

Not true, only when the next gen RS6 will we be considered UrRS6 owners (happy ones at that).
For right now we are just RS6'ers,
