    Post Changing A4 turbos..

    Does anybody know if its possible to change the turbo in the A4? and would it be reliable?

    If you have a 1.8t one thing to do is to buy the turbo, injectors and exhaust manifold from the TT 225hp. Then with a front mounted IC, you will get about 260hp. This should also be very reliable.

    PES AND APR both offer turbo upgrades
    the first would be a ko4 upgrade, which will produce 240hp and
    many companies have kits out for around 1500-2000
    if you want more pes and apr both make 280-300hp stage 3 kits
    which are around 3500-4000 which will produce mid 13 sec 1/4 mile times

    Id like to have that engine! But the problem is the 5V/cyl you should really have a 4V/cyl when you go abouve 400-450bhp, since the 5V (TOP?) isnt strong enough!

    What, 580hp out 1.8T???? :bigeyes: :bigeyes: :MTM:
    that's over 320hp/liter, and i thought the 600hp of the MTM RS4 was a lot
    what about reliability:eye: ?

    Yes you must look at his site he has some wonderfull cars:
    much audi's like a RS4 (625ps), S2 and........WOW!!!

    I have much video's of the 2 next cars (with same 1400ps) with to plenty power!!! they are superb!!!!!

    Sorry the exhaust manifold or headers (Whats the right name for it?) wont fit from the TT, since the engine is on the other way! I hope you understand what im struggeling to explain!
