    new numbers..

finally got the car back from the shop. its been a long wait. well i just missed it so it took forever. lol. the motor was pulled and the trany rebuilt. the work done by my mech was awsome. it felt beter and more sturdier then when i forst drove it home. we did a few things here and there.
today was the day to try out the new trans. now... my computer is acting up so i dont know when i can post again, and its messing up while i do this sooo. anyway ill try.

now the weather was in the 60s and its a mustang dyno.
the first dyno was 426 and 498 tq.

    secound was 401 and 513 tq. ??????

this is with the car downshifting everyother run. as i look in the car to talk to the dyno guy i notice the ac is on. after turning that off without a cool down period we tryed again.

    447 hp at 5500
    and 522 tq at 4250

it was awsome. sounds great on the dyno. but that puts the power at 580 ish at the motor. but its funny i can now tell u how ac kills power. lol the ac kills the power by 3700. i think we will go back in the next few days to get beter numbers. this time let it cool down and turn the ac off.

what problems did the mechanic find when he opened the transmission? What was causing the slipage?

I was told that this transmission One is very heavy duty and Two will be repairable for many years since it is very similar to those used in several other cars.

dont know what he found. but tjm (before they sold the rights to sell dahlback) put in dp and an exhaust. with a slitly more agressive tune then comes with the package. and the tune was tomuch. so we pulled the trans and sent it to level one in nj. which was told to me by hans. and that theyve worked on a few euros rs6s. so we built it. autoy in rockville pulled the motor and well the rest is history. they put mtm hoses in and mtm brakes. picked up a big tune from new age(i think thats who bout the right to sell db)

with the intake it put down 387 with just a intake and chip. then 434 with the stage 1 tune and exhaust.now 447 while being heatsoaked. geting fun.

You HAVE to keep us posted on the L10 tranny. You've done some serious retooling of your beast and we could all benefit from this trail you're blazing.
