Post R10 - im lacking fuel consumtion info...

    hey guys,

again, i appoint to you as i want to get a better idea of the upcoming R10's fuel consumption measures, and no other group of knowledgefull people i'd want to ask.

i could not find much info about this topic.. however, for now, assumptions/estimates will be appreciated.

i already know the R8's past victories have to do with the FSI technology and the ability to refuel less times than the competitors.

    24Hrs
my question is ... how much percentage do you assume/estimate that the R10 will less visit the pit for refueling than the R8.

to set me straight so that i get a better understanding .. was the R8's advantage over the others a 10% less visit for fuel?
-btw, im really unsure.. as im not stating it is 10%.. just really asking what was the R8's advantage over others and whats the R10's advantage over the R8's. (i know there is an advantage for both models and not arguing otherwise)

but now that the R10 is diesel... oh man, is that another 10% (or even more) over the R8?

sorry about the sloppy wording ... i hope i got my point across.

I was looking on a dutch site that the new audi r10

has a 12 cilinder TDI engine with 2 turbo's fully made out of alluminium

650 bhp and 1100 nm of torque
and it should a lot more fuel sufficient

they even said that the test banks or what they are called in englisch had to be rebuild to sustain the amount of torque

    what a fantastic car :MTM:
