    Digital Cameras recomendations

Hi guys. I'm currently thinking about buying a new camera and I was wondering if any of you guys can gimme some recomendations on cameras that you have or would like to have.

I'm looking for a camera that has over 5mp but no more than 6.2-7.1mp , the brand is not an issue but I've always liked Nikon, Canon and Sony.

The uses for this camera are totally amateur, however i enjoy photography a lot.

Well, I hope that you can gime some recomendations.

    Javier

    I love my Nikon D70.
I think it is perfect for Amateur, and it takes a few hours with with manual to learn lots of awesome features. There is also an 'auto' mode, which is just for folks that wish to use it in easy mode.

I guess the question is SLR or compact.

I can recommend the Canon EOS range. (SLR)
    EOS350 perhaps?

I'm inte market for an advanced compact as well.

This looks very interesting: Panasonic DMC-LX1

I bought the Panasonic DMC-LX1 today.

Haven't used it so much, but I think I will like it. Advanced, yet small.

I went up on the roof to take some pics.

Uh! Don't know what happened to the quality of the second picture. Had to resize it twice to make if fit so I think the quality went missing big time.
