Funny how many Audi Contracted drivers have been loaned to Bentley, and Audi Sport only gives them the ECU when the car gets to the track!

As I see it Audi has now won three years in a row and there is not much marketing value left in another trophy.

With the Bentley Continental GT around the corner, a Speed 8 win would come in handy when the sales books need to be filled.

    similar solutions

Watching the pictures i see that the side pods of the seep 8 are very similar to those the Audi R8 2002 have, if you see carefully in the pictures you will see how the airflow solution for both are similar

In that part of the car the part of the airflow is diffused directly to the cooling radiators and other part is diffused to the side of the car, watch the pictures and you will see, is the same solution we can say with the diference that the Bentley has that massive fender at the front of the car, it certantly generates a lot of downforce, i guess also helps a lot to concentrate the airflow that comes from the front to take it to the cooling radiators

there are some similarities, but they looks a bit the same
Anyway, you definitely see who's paying the bill

BTW I think the old car looks better

i am totaly agree with you Reno, the old one looks better, more "elegant" than the new one, but as they use to say in this bussiness, "it's not about the shape, it's the function what they pay"

By the way good to see you again !!
