VAG Code. Anyone know if this is serious?

Dealer told me that the RS6's throw it all the time and they don't know why so they just reset it. I'm not necessarily biting on that one so I thought I would throw it out to this board for further discussion.

For the record, my braking seems fine. Never had a problem with it. Never an accident. Never any issues.

Never have had that one. Only message, was when my brakes were almost completely worn, and once while driving, the headlight alignment warning light came on (it has since gone off and never came back). And no one else from this board has ever posted that code so I wonder how accurate the term "the RS 6's throw it all the time" is?

I never had that problem, so I guess that means it counteracts against their quote?

Here is some minor research I did, and the outcome.
I know that in the S4 the diverter valves were crap, so it got replaced quite often. Might ask your dealership to try this route first, as they are pretty cheap and easy to change.

The controller has a part number. You might want to have this replaced, or at least see if there are any sensor systems in place that could be easily replaced.

This is all I could find. I would press the dealership to do a pressure test to make sure there are no leaks in any of the hoses. They should be able to do this in 30 minutes tops.

Thanks for the input! I'm going back to the dealer and force their hand on this one. Brakes are not something you screw with.
