New S4 and two RS6 Saloon

I guess you americans better check out the news in the car magazines soon.

    Quoted from Greg:

"S4s do look Euro-spec, and have no VIN numbers, but are in US for a press event of some sort (top secret??) and the RS6s too. 3 of each. The S4's are top notch - Recaro front and rear seats, carbon fiber, but I still like the B5 body style better, myself. I did get to sit in the S4 and the inside was great, better looking / feeling shifter, pedals, everything - even an in-glove-box CD changer and Nav system.

The RS6 is just plain impressive, and so subtle. The brakes, even though people on the A6/S6 forum already bashed 'em are just massive."

as far as the brakes are concerned, "hansome is as hansome does"...... ask yourself what is more important, the look of the brakes or their performance?
I'm not quite sure how you can find the brakes "impressive" until you have properly tested them! had you been able to properly test the brakes, emphasis on properly, then you would revise your uninformed opinion!

    R+C
PS Even quattro GmbH is concerned about the brakes and is conducting internal tests presently. Given the long term warranty situation in the US, one would imagine that AOA would be on top of this?

Wow...anything less than a 4 year warranty here is considered unacceptable. Guess we are lucky...does your warranty also included scheduled work (oil changes, etc)?

I know this hasn't to do with the Audis (which by the way are soo cool!), but did you notice the truck in the back of the first picture?? "I say god damn" that's a big truck!!!
I guess it's a little more than the 18 metres that are allowed i Sweden...
