    Daytona Gray

    Hi Erik

Thanks for the pictures. I always love to see how the car looks in real life and not only in glossy brochures. Those pictures tell me that i took the right decision concerning the color. Please keep on posting pictures.

yes indeed the color looks great in the sun

thats the color i'm leaning towards as well. the
pictures you posted of the daytona grey in
saloon version at the detroit show look fabulous,
but it's nice to see the color in real life settings.

Sssshh! Benman doesn't wanna hear that the 19" alloys are sooooo much nicer because they don't get the 19" in the US!

    allright guys, very funny

actually i may be able to get those sweet 19"s after all. my
dealer might be able to order the 19"s from germany and then
when my rs6 comes in swap the 18"s as a dealer parts trade.
he hasn't promised for sure yet but it sounds like it's going to
    go through

You seem to have a good dealer!
The 19" are sweeeeet, so I hope for your sake that it works out!

And if not, you can always get aftermarket 20" and post the pictures here for Dave and Scoop to drule at

this might not be the answer you want to hear but you
should keep your stock 19"s. the ride is only going to get worse
with bigger wheels and besides those 19" are gorgeous straight
    from the factory!

yea.. I think I can live with the ride.. It's not half as hard as the mags have made out.. wait until you get in one.. you will be amazed..

it's a million miles from the likes of a scoobie or evo.. it is very comfortable compared to some of the cars I have had

And of course it's a toss up between looks and ride.. hmm.. looks/ride.. ride/looks

    damn.. I've confused myself now

Exactly my feelings. I put back the stock 18" alloys on my RS4 after putting 19" on it which felt right on the eye but wrong for the ride so I'm going to stick to the 19" on the RS6.
