Yea, faster than the R32 (quickest hatch I know). Unless you're counting the HPA R32s...0-60 in 3.2!

What about the Alfa 147 GTA ?

    0-100 kmph = 6.5
    max kmph= 245

well, i guess its been confirmed there will be no RS3, but there will be an S3 which should still be very quick. Im thinkin tuned N/A 3.2 good for 300-320 hp.

The only thing I can say it's the 1 series BMW with the M5 E39 V8 with 400 or 450hp! I think THIS is the world fastest!!! The Hartge H1 5.0!!! What a beast!!!

    Love it!!!

My previous Alfa 147GTA was very marginally quicker in a dead stright line, in the dry, than my current R32. However, the Alfa was much slower in corners, in damp conditions and over bumpy roads. So that'll be 90% of the driving time where I live.

I miss the looks of the Alfa but appreciate the solidity and superior handling of the R32. Mind you, a VeeDub/audi can be tuned without falling apart - not something to be said about the italian option.

Shame the Germans manufacturers don't get the italians to style their body shells though.

Ehrrmmm...how about the stock A3 3,2 DSG? 0-100 in 6,4 secs and 250 kph limited top speed...? And basically all comparison tests I ever read between R32 and S3 indicated that the latter was slightly faster (with possibly the odd exception).
