Is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 real ?

Heard the next Volkswagen supercar by Bugatti will have a W16 4-turbos 8-liter engine and a 4WD transmission, for an initial power of 1,001 hp and a torque of 1,250nm.

To be potentially increased to 1,200-1,300 hp "if the owners are feeling the need", apparently quoted the head of Bugatti.

I saw it @ the paris Motor show, and it is definitely real!!!
They even started the engine for a potential buyer, must admit it sounded very impressive!!

I have read in a magazine that the first road test of the car had shows that the frame (the new one because at the begining they were using a eb110 one) could'not reach the 400km/h. It will maybe possible with a technical assistance from Bugatti (Audi). The car will be limited to 'only' 350km/h

According to me the best supercar of the moment is the Murcielago, it's beautiful, got 4WD, reliable, makes a terrible sound and it's an AUDI


The Bugatti will be a great a car but would it be as they promised ?

I heard a French insurance company had calculated the rate at 34.000 Euros per year for the new Bugatti.

I am sure it is negotiable but still...
