    3-Coupe DIESEL 330CD !

    Hi all,

for you guys this is maybe not so interesting news, but a lot of a people in Belgium and I guess in the Netherlands also...

BMW is releasing the 3-Series Coupe with a diesel! The only engine for now is the 2900cc-engine the 330CD that will be..
It will have the upgraded powerplant that is available on the 730d now, with 204pk (is it 204PS u guy say in English?) and 410Nm of torque. :bunny2:

The other diesels will also be upgraded...
the525d will have 180PS, the 530d will have 220PS, the torque numbers were not released. (anybody knows?)

Here's a pic of the 330Cd. My first time, so not sure if it will work...
also not such a good pic because I scanned it from a magazine: AUTOWERELD...

    Nice BMWs!

The Audi A8 will be released with a 4.0TDI this year.
I don't think the 3.3TDI was so successful.

I can't remember were I read that, but here's some interesting information on bmwm5.com
it has'nt been a succes because an 530d with chiptuning is almost as fast, but a lot cheaper. still this car looks great, i wouldn't mind driving a D3.3 touring

.. D10 biturbo touring sounds nice, too.. but driving a A6 V10 TDi might be more interesting I think .. hope they think aubout s.th. like that .. well first it will only be availabe (correct?) in touareg and Phaeton .. hope it`s coming our way in A8 and A6, too

I heard it was'nt coming to any audi-models because it's to heavy, and that doesn't fits in Audi's image, certainly not in the aluminium A8! anyway i love this engine as well. 750 nm Torque that must feel good !

no Reno, don't have a M3 anymore. I inheritad (when u recieve sth when sb dies) from my father 5 years ago. But I recently went to live with my girlfriend and we had to sell the car to buy the appartment we like. And the yearly taxes and fuel consumption arejust way to high for a student...
I'm now driving a VW Golf, but hope to get a company car next year.

Then after a few years I'll be able to buy my own M3... or a 330Cd would be fine for me tooo... hah

What do u do for aliving? What did u study? I'm a last year student Industrial Engineer.

aha, u have to study a bit longer than me...

I have 5 months to go. Are u also having Partial Exams now? I start mondat the 13th.

I see u live in Brussels. Do u plan on goin to the AutoSalon? Or do u still have exams then? I plan to go the 23rd, after my last exam, because it(s only open till 25 Jan isn't it?

it was a E39, red, black interior, but the fuel consumption was wbout 13l/100km, a bit too much for my standards and my income from weekendwork.

    de groeten,
