Personally I do not like the design of that car...
But I've heard that former Bugatti Automobili (who had a factory close-by to B. Engineering S.r.l. (who's the manufactorer of the Edonis) until a couple of years ago) technician Nicola Materazzi is involved in the project - that's a plus.
Also I've heard they only plan to build 21 units...will be quite rare in other words.

Maybe not the cutest of all cars, but I like the performance!

From the Edonis press release:
"On 12 May 2002, the Edonis, equipped with PAX System, reached a top speed of 359.6 km/h , beating the record for the best performance on the Nardo circuit (high speed test track) and the Sport Auto magazine’s speed record."


From the Koenigsegg press release

"Unfortunately it started to rain one hour into the tests. However, before a too heavy rainfall, Mr. Bicocchi managed to drive 365 km/h according to company measurements, which was not pushing the car to full speed - only a shake down run!"

Edonis is build on the body shell of EB110 from Bugatti. and since they don't have many of them left, that's why it has to be limited to such small number of cars.

I dont like it either, it's built off the body shell of EB110, after Bugatti built that they almost went bankrupt (or did they? whatever you get my point) and for some reason I have a feeling that the same is going to happen. I mean with all the competition, what does the Edonis have that's so special? It's ugly...sorry but this getts the thumbs down from me!

I Like the edonis it's so fast it has a modded bugatti engine (EB110)
