    Interior Trim change

Since day one of ownership I'd expressed my dislike for the aluminium trim, so I made sure to be quick about it and did it - 10 years later.

    Out with the old Alu
    In with the new Carbon

    WDYT?

Looks good. I had the wood, I think it was Elm?? I swapped it out for the optional RS6+ Blue weave Carbon. Then I did a Manual conversion and it took me forever to find a matching Blue Weave Manual shift surround but I did, thanks to D. Hall.

Very nice! I was fortunate enough to get carbon in mine as original, and all in perfect shape no less thanks to being garage kept. I did pucker up a bit though when grinding/cutting away for the 6 speed...took me a few days as I was soooo cautious! As much as I would love blue carbon, I'm not sure if I'd be able to cut it....

Muggy, I agree. I first started whittling on my Blue Carbon Automatic surroung and then decided I wasn't up to the task and searched long and hard for a Blue Carbon C5 Manual surround.

Ahh...had no idea that there was even a manual one available!
