How To Rebuild A Cylinder Head

So RS6 gurus, I come to you once more...

I accidentally found out why my car died on the side of the road a 1 1/2 months ago and why it wouldnt start. The tensioner pad disintegrated throwing off the intake cam. I bent all 4 middle intake valves and pushed the other 8 that are on the sides back up into the head. The exhaust valves are fine, but needless to say I'll be needing a rebuilt.

What brands are known to be good and others to stay away from? Is there one company that offers everything? I would ask for a parts list, but I will know for sure what parts I need when I disassemble it tomorrow.

I don't know which brand to look for. But can say that Supertech big valve kit will not fit RS6, because the exhaust valves is to big!

The cheapest is to only change the intake valves to similar, the OEM part no is 077109601Q (search on eBay and Google)
    Valve stem oil seals: 036109675A
You sīmust also check the valve guides, unfortunately I can not find any article number on these?

Tensioner pads can you find on eBay

Then you of course also need new head gasket, head bolts etc.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. At least that 'heart' appears to be in great hands to make it beat as usual in the near future.
