2003 RS6, Mugello Blue, 137K miles, never been tuned, $11.5K OBO, Chicago

    Hi everyone,
The time has come to part out with my RS6

    Mugello Blue/White interior

I will update this post within a couple of days, with more photos and details.

135K miles (had it since 68K miles)- was my daily driver
    Never been tuned
Timing belt/buffkin pipe replaced 10K miles ago
KW V3 suspension is under 10K miles
Still original transmission- no slippage, no codes (never been lunched)
Had a paint correction done in fall 2017

    The bad:
One of the valve cover gaskets has a leak (had it for years)
Front brakes will need to be replaced soon
    Tires are 80% done

It was my daily driver until May 2018. Looking to get $11.5K but open to offers, as I'm looking for rather a quick sale. Located in Chicago.

    2003 Audi RS6, V8TT, 136K miles, $11.5K OBO, Chicago

Ideally, this car should go to someone familiar with Audis and especially with this model.
I tried my best to list every important detail (good and bad) about it. I really want an Audi enthusiast to get it, because it’s a rare and a fun car to have.

I've had it for 6+ years, since 68K miles. I would say 70% of the miles came from the highway driving

    Exterior:
    Color: Mugello blue
    • Paint correction was done in the Fall of 2017. Front bumper has a lot of chip marks from highway driving. Here and there other scratches. Pretty normal for a 16 yrs old car that was driven around, not a garage queen.
    • Tinted windows all around – 35%
    • Front splitter
    • Rear EURO license plate holder
    • EURO tail lights
    • OEM wheels

    Interior:
    • White interior
    • One of the Carbon Fiber trims has cracks.
    • Some buttons and switches have faded (included on photos)
    • Seats were steam cleaned along with the paint correction.
    • Alcantara is in OK shape
    • Rubber mats included

    Bad things:
    • One of the valve cover gaskets is leaking
    • Car is vibrating when driving due to warped rotors, because it’s been mainly sitting in the garage since May 2018. (If you are local and provide parts, I could take care of the labor)
    • One of the axles is not OEM, but I do have an OEM axle (used, but in good condition) that will come with the car
    • The ESP light is ON due to the “bad wheel speed sensor” which was replaced but the issue didn’t go away. It's nothing big, but needs to be looked at.
    • Rear bumper got a little damage on the lower grill (the plastic piece)
    • Sunroof sometimes acts up but it's an easy fix, I never bothered with it.

    Good things:
    • KW V3 coilovers with less than 10K miles on them
    • Control Arms are still fresh
    • Timing Belt (Gates Racing) job + buffkin pipe replacement was done 10K miles ago
    • Transmission still runs strong, no signs of slippage, no codes
    • A lot of little things were replaced/swapped along the way
    • This car has never been tuned or launched
    • Was a daily driver for the last 5+ years
    • Garage kept
    • No CELs
    • Has a custom exhaust (straight pipes all the way from CATs)
    • Battery BOSCH is about a year old

I do not have many maintenance receipts. This car was serviced mainly by a friend of mine who is a very good mechanic and also used to own an RS6 and other Audis.

Guys, was away for some time, but the time has come and I need to free up the space in the garage.

    $9800 takes it!

Alright, really need to move it before the snow comes.

    $9000 takes it. That’s a bargain

Good luck with the sale! Looks like a very honest car.

Have you tried listing it on CL and eBay? I found mine on eBay, but purchased it direct after the auction failed to get any bids.

With the color, I would think BringaTrailer with no reserve would suit it very well. I cant remember the last time I saw one end under $9000 was.

That would be mine... It was $8500. It probably needed more work and the paint wasn't in as good of a condition.

    Thanks guys.

I honestly thought it will find a new owner within a month.
I’ve had it on Facebook market (90% if inquires come from there)
    Craigslist
    eBay - 3 times

go figure, maybe the “bad stuff” in my description is what makes people worried. But then if you know these cars, and for the price it’s at, there is a lot of room to work with, where you will save a lot of money down the road.
