    J293 Fan control module

Big fan running randomly killing my battery. Shop won't diagnose because car has a chip. Can only figure it is J293. Anyone have any pics of their beast that is apart or can tell me where it is located?

    Thanks!

It's integrated into the big fan itself, I think.
Small one has an external control unit, located under left (driver's side) front frame rail.

I think you might be right. Thanks. Seems that the big 12v wires are hot all the time.Click image for larger version.

Should be PWM and ground, I guess.

Jumpered the 12v into the fan with no signal input, fan spooled up after 10 seconds or so. Bad fan controller I'm guessing. P/N 4B3959455F or E. $950 from the dealer. Anyone have a used one they want to sell?

    Thanks for the help.
