The new 2004 RS4 - 3.0TT

A RS4 with a 3.0TT?

According to Autoweek the new RS4 will have the 3.0l V6 used in A4/A6 models and biturbo. Probably lightly 'touched' by Cosworth.

Hopefully this engine would reach the new A6 models as well, but maybe with less power.

But I thought that the last RS4 already had rolled out from the factory and that they didn't want to continue manufacturing it? Have they changed their minds and going for a 2004 model?
Have I've been sleeping under a rock for a long time or what?
I sure hope they have!!

are you sure? from when the actual A4 was released they said that a RS4 one is coming.. this is what I read in all papers i got :/.. so.. I´m sure it will come.. also i read a very nice article from the new "little" Lamborghini where they wrote that the V10 engine with 500 horsepower is coming in a RS8.. anybody who knows the same?..

I thought new RS4 might get V8tt from RS6, or FSI V8, both 400+?

I know BMW is doing 380HP v6tt for the 3 Series, ... that's not even the new M3, the new M3 is rumored to be getting V8 400+,
new M5 V10 515HP ... scary, scary, ....
