Front Pad Set - Supplier Question (Crazy Low Price)

    Hi All,

I need to replace my front brake pads (4B3698151A). MSRP is $568, several online retailers like ECS, EuroParts, FCP, etc list them for various amounts from $500-550. Jim Ellis Audi in ATL sells it for $457 plus shipping (I've used them before since my local dealership won't price match).

Searching further, I found AutohausAZ.com, a retailer out in Arizona, that is selling the whole front pad set for $88.71. Does anyone have experience with them? I'd love for this to be legit, but at 85% off, I'm justifiably suspicious. Are these pads fake remakes or low quality foreign parts being labeled as OEM? I hope I can actually save $450 here but the risk of an inferior pad exploding doesn't seem worth it. Hoping one of you guys has the 411.

    Thanks!

    Ryan

I liked Mintex pads very much - and they cost around (gasp!) 50 bucks.

Good find, just bought a set of EBC yellow front pads, they have done right by me in the past, stay away from EBC Reds at all costs. still looking for the best price on a set of front and rear rotors for the RS6, so far Partsgeek.com has the best deal on rotors I've seen advertised...

I got rear rotors from audionlineparts.com a couple of years ago. I got the fronts from G2 (Gary) here on the forum for a great price.... non branded OEM
