    Need some urgent wheel/tire advice

So I bought the RS6 6 speed with 19x10 Rotiforms and 275/35/19. Seems they are an ET32 plus 3mm spacers. Sitting too low, trashed a fender liner but no biggie or so I thought as car has KWV3s so just raise her up a little.

Except....turns out an eagle eyed tech at Audi spotted the tie rod ends had been carving a nice groove in both fronts.....not good.

I am not sold on the Rotiforms (apparently very heavy) nor on OEM (came with the car, a bit sad condition, maybe one is slightly bent, one bad tire, running 245/40/18 tires), and I don't see a tire combo out there that makes me go yowza (except maybe the Volk LE37s, unobtanium for a sensible price?)

So I have a decision to make: looks like I need to go to 255/35/19 and hope that fixes the tie rod issue, but not sure how long I will keep the Rotiforms, so not looking to cheap out on tires, but don't want to go nuts either.

And with the apparent weight saving of the 01E, do I still really need XL tires?

Car is in N Florida so mostly summer with the odd torrential rainstorm.

    Advice?

Glad you found your choice, seems like a good one. For me, i do have rotiform wheels for me and i am sitting at 255/40/19 with no issues. The Roti are only for summer and if i want to do performance, i go back to my stock wheels (even so heavy) but 18's and with performance tires.
