    Euro 19s on my RS6

After seeing Dave's setup I really wanted to get a set of these wheels. I think that the thick spoke design really suits the wide body C5s. I initially wanted to have them done in Titan Grey but the smoked Chrome look is growing on me. I got this set from BKS-Tuning in Germany. Currently they are on as my winter setup with Pirelli SottoZero 3 winter tires.

yes these are OEM Audi RS6 Euro spec wheels... 19 x 9 ET35. Robert at BKS sourced them... Took him two attempts to get these. These look like they are powder coated smoked Chrome

Curious to learn what you paid, including shipping - can you share that?

Also, how was your experience with BKS?

I bought a part from BKS last year and was shipped something entirely different. To get refunded, I had to pay the shipping cost to return the part to BKS which, combined with the out going shipping cost, equaled the cost of the part I purchased. Zero effort was taken by BKS to address the unfairness of this transaction. Also, had to rely on Paypal's purchase resolution service to get BKS's acknowledgement that there was a problem.

My experience has been overall okay ... there have been delays in shipping and sometimes it is hard to get in touch with them... but they do eventually respond. I have bought a lot of stuff from them over the last 2 years and never had to ship anything back.

Thanks for the cost and shipping details. At that price, I assume the wheels were used?

As for getting them, did you just send BKS an email asking if they could source you a set? Curious to the process - thanks.

Yes used...don't think you can get them new anymore except for Hartmann replicas. Yes just sent them an email asking them to source one.

Have always liked the wide 5spoke rims. I have two sets of these too. 1 for summer 19x9 and one for winter 18x8.5. IMO they always look better on the darker color cars that are blue, black, and gray.

I got Pirelli Sottozero series 3 tires 255/35/19s. They appear stretched on these wheels exposing them to potholes. I think I should have gone with 265s. Thoughts?

    8" wide = 245 tire
    8.5" wide = 255 tire
    9" wide = 265 tire
    and so on

isnt the stock size 255 even on the 19x9 wheel? I know the section widths may vary with brand slightly

Fair statement yes. I have some Kumo track tires that are labelled as 245's, but measure out a full 20mm wider....

My list was a reference of what is recognized as an appropriate size for the most part. There will be some exceptions.

That said, even with a half inich narrower, you shouldn't be experiencing problem. I've seen idiots run 225's on a 9" rim up here.....
