    Bufkin pipe write-up/DIY?

    Hey guys,

Just picked up a Bufkin oil cooler pipe from a forum member; wondering if there's a write-up somewhere on how to install it? Is it do-able with the engine in the car? Any help is appreciated; thanks!!

Possible, yes, heard 8-10 hours maybe...easier while doing other work though.

Doing the Bufkin, but found 2 more O rings that I would like to replace (one being a double O ring).
Any ideas how to find the part numbers to call the dealer if they have them?

Thanks! Dealer out of stock (Wednesday). ECS not shipping (called yesterday) Saturday, so shipping Tuesday.
Anybody know if the identical looking double O ring fits the RS6: 079115111A

Probably the same thing, but better make sure, dealer should know.
Also, try local VW dealers for that part, they might have it.

Dealer has the B6 S4 double O ring on hand, so will pick up and find out if match (does not have the official RS6 kit).

Dealer doesn't have a clue, only judged by watching at the picture above. No breakdown found for the 'oil cooler filter gasket housing set' 077198405 (starting at $45).

The cooler is a common part on more than just the BCY engine, so other 'listings' should still fit. This is a pretty straight forwward thing to confirm by overlaying the old with new.
    '02 S6 Avant Silver - Pokey | Carbon Black/Ebony RS6 w/ stuff - darn quick | '03 Daytona Grey/Ebony RS6 w/ more stuff - quicker yet | '91 NSX CDN issue with 6spd & BBSC - quicker yet and then some | '87 Buick GNX OEM clone w/ lots of stuff - quickest hands down
