COTA looks like alot of work for the braking system. What were you running for tires?

My new Hawk HPS pads were pretty much toast after several hard laps at Barber earlier this year, brake pads definitely need an upgrade for the track. I got some Yellowstuff for Talladega & they held up for a fair number of hard hits from 140-145 at the end of the back straight to keep from hitting the Vettes in front of me. They seem to have more bite than the HPS but do have more dust.

I ran HPS pads at the Glen last year and they were destroyed after one weekend and had horrible fade.

I installed HT10 pads this year and those are uber hard! The rotors were not happy after that event. Ended up switching to HP+ and have not had a chance to run them, but they seem like a good compromise between the HPS and HT10. I was going to go to the August 22nd event but my car is still at EFI getting tuned with the new turbos...
