How large is the E39 filter compared to stock? I've never really liked the relatively small oil filter on these cars considering the performance level of the engine.

I'd say the e39 filter is close to twice the size. It's just a very convenient design.

Yes, it's definitely substantially larger. Not to mention much more convenient to change. And to top it off, the filters are less expensive! All around a win-win.

On the injectors, it seems they're only good for like 600hp is what I'm seeing online?

This is saying they're not really 550's

Closest I could find at 3Bar was:
    0280156167 (Blue RS6) - 380~400cc
    0280155968 (Big Green) - 415
    0280155892 (225TT 1.8t) - 386cc

These are one of the newest Bosch designs (EV14) that everyone is using with the 5v 1.8t motors which should match our combustion chambers well.
http://www.bosch-motorsport.com/medi...5993867pdf.pdf The EV6 (RS6) injectors are compatible with the right EV12 & EV14 injectors. My Turbo just went out in the TT (K04 also) so of course I'm upgrading the daily driver as 225 + downpipe/exhaust, & tune (probably around 260bhp) aren't enough. I'm going with a modified K04 (Frankenturbo) and 550cc injectors, bigger MAF, and new tune. The mod has been out for the 1.8t for almost 5yrs and everyone is running cooler EGT's and about 290~300lb/ft of TQ and about 280~290bhp at the wheels, all from a 1.8t. Like the RS6 (very similar motors actually), the Rods are the limit and everyone says stop at 300lb/ft unless you replace the rods.

    Some more interesting Bosch reading:

Although you can get a little higher flow rate from just running a higher fuel pressure regulator. Either way you need a custom tune to go with it. Costly for the dyno time but you can probably get more power fairly easily compared to off the shelf tunes with lower EGT's but of course at a cost to the tuner for his time & dyno. I may go this route down the road with AMD, I they've done hours and hours of this on just about every Audi including the RS6. I think AvusRS6 car has had a bit of work on the Dyno at AMD, not just an over the counter tune.

Part number on the injectors is 0280158298. These are EV4 and need the EV14 adapter for the RS6 wire harness.
