    Post Looking to buy another RS6...

    Well, I've been keeping an eye out for another RS6 for the past month or so, and figured I'd formally post a WTB ad here after missing out on a good deal.

    I still have the fully 6MT conversion from my totalled RS6, so I'd be perfectly happy to buy one with a bad trans for a good price and swap it as soon as I get it. I'm not super particular about miles, but would like a good maintenance history. E.g. upgraded DRC or completely different suspension, good rotors, good oil history, no leaks, good tires, etc. I'm not a stickler for perfection cosmetically, but would prefer to have nothing broken and no major issues beyond maybe some small scratches/dings typical of a 13 year old car. Ideally no issues with stuff not working, besides maybe the transmission. Not concerned about tune/no tune. RNS-E would be nice! Color isn't a huge deal, but I do like Daytona Gray and Mugello Blue. Ebony Black would also be nice in that I have a bunch of body parts in that color already..

    Anyway, if anyone has leads on something that fits the above description I'd love a heads up! Or if someone has a trans starting to go bad and would rather not deal with it, let me know!

    Conversely, if someone would be interested in buying a known working autobox from me, I could get a working one and sell it after the swap..
    RS6 #1, 01E, 2.5" straight pipes, AMD Stage 1 6MT tune, 460awhp/530awtq on AMD's Mustang dyno. TOTALLED.. RS6 #2, Ebony Black Pearl on black/silver combination with carbon, up and running with 6 gears and AMD tune.

    I have the exact car you want, but.... do i wanna get rid of it or swap it myself... ugh.
    BB GT28's w/ Tial Wastegates, Full 3" Open Exhaust, Wagners, Billet Triple Disk Converter, Built Trans, Exedy Friction Disks, ECU/TCU Tuned, 450/AEM400/1000cc/AFPR, E85, R8 Coils, Nubcake Tuned. Fastest RS6 in the USA :)

    Didn't I buy some parts from you? I guess you could buy them back with my beast. Sounds like I have everything you're looking for besides cheap from bad transmission. Check out my FS thread, I've got documentation from original purchase date in 2004 to the last workup done last month, and totaled up my bills around 28k I've put into her since June of 2013, not withstanding all the minor misc stuff I've done over the years. Would be great to see her go to a fellow enthusiast!
