It's here! - Mugello Blue Saloon (or Sedan if you prefer)

Oh boy, am I excited! I'm collecting on Thursday. The eagle-eyed will no doubt notice TheGit's Avus Silver Avant parked next door.

Are you going to have a fun weekend ...or what ?
I'm sure you won't be dissappointed, I'm REALLY enjoying mine. The ease with which it goes so very fast is amazing.
    Cheers

    Phew, what a day!

I had a meeting this morning, which I got out of just in time to shoot off to the dealer, chop in the S8 and pick up the RS6, then back to the office for another meeting that's just finished.

No time in between to enjoy my new toy.

But it must almost be time to go home now!

I'm still telling myself I will run it in properly, but we'll have to see about that. I'll post a report once I've got some miles on it. Must update my sig some time too, I suppose...

So it's not "nervously waiting..." anymore but "nervously driving..."

Correct there, Erik - every kerb suddenly looks like it's about 2 feet tall with serrated edges. Very nervous about harming my pride and joy.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it though, I've been able to restrain myself and keep the revs down to 3400 or below while running it in. Not a particularly difficult job, as it's easily as fast as the S8 was, even with only half it's rev range.
