With the number of times you've dipped the car, how many labor hours does it take? Got all your templates in order, I assume.

Like the Nardo Grey, can't wait to see what's next

Looks great. I have a repaint question.

When it is done, do they remove all the silver trim and reapply? How long do you have to let the paint dry before the door trim (top edge) can be put back on?

    Mike

(repaint is my next project as the doors are rotting out, just paint I hope.)

I don't want to discuss the process too much. I'm not a vendor here and only trying to show the results with my fellow RS6ers.. I want to respect the forum. Hope that's ok

Beautiful. With blacked out trim, gunmetal wheels, and blacked out headlights it wouldn't look out of place compared to a new RS model on the showroom floor.

I'm glad I stumbled on this. This is the color I've had in my mind for doing a respirator some day. Looks great! I do agree that the black trim would work great, especially with the black wheels

Fonzie, I own a Avus Silver RS6 and have been trying to find a nice aftermarket hood like the one you have so I'm just wondering what kind it is and where you purchased it? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks Fonzie

Looks like just a cut stocker?
I have a similar (but not as subtle & nice looking) mod.

Beauty, spot on match for my 996tt. Dude this looks so good, I'm so tempted to follow suit.

Nice job on the Nardo. Excellent choice. Here's my fully converted Nardo contribution. Wheels go for gunmetal powder coating shortly.
