    OT- 996 on the table

As some of you know, I purchased a 2002 996 to retire Crazy from track duty. After a few issues, I elected to put a Raby built motor into the 996 and signed up about a year ago. It is a 4.0L Stage II. By the end of the month, it should be fired back up! I thought I would share a few pics:

I look forward to lighting it back up!

The Heads and Intake look good but Dave would have you down there with a toothbrush polishing the crankcase to match.

hahahaha---and some Mop-N-Glow. I hear ya- The previous owner neglected/abused it. The case went through a deep sonic cleaning. There isn't a toothbrush that could get it mo better. Oh well- it has it where it counts!!! ;0

^LOL- That is it! I had it at the shop today. Paul (and crew) put a few finishing touches on it today including final installation of an oil cooler. Paul is awesome and can do just about anything as you know.

I was able to rip it through a few gears on the private road by our shop. The Thing is Loud and the throttle response is fantastic!
