Anyone run the PLX digital OBD gauges on here?

I have used them many times and really like them. They plug into the OBDII port and give you a nice gauge size touch screen that can display anything the port can. Since I have never tried one on a car so complex I wondered if anyone had some experience with them on the Audis?

    For those unfamiliar: http://www.plxdevices.com/OBD-OBD2-O...7346002436.htm

They have custom screen downloads including Audi. But I would use it in the 4 mode display for boost, IAT, exhaust temps per side. Maybe AFR if it does 5 lines.

I had forgotten all about these. I think they would be a great addition , specially to add a trans temp gauge with the additional sensor option as we cant get trans temp through the obd port. I have to do a trans service soon so now might be an ideal time to add a temp bulb in the pan.
only concern is how to make the gauge "fit in", I think the standlone option would look weird. I do like the idea of one mounted in the rearview mirror though..........

I think with the stock mount with the front half trimmed would fit perfectly above the driver side most vent. The mount would slip between the dash and vent and keep the gauge low key plus the wires could be just run into the vent.

I dunno, will figure it out when mine arrives.

I used the gauge from p3cars..a little pricey but integrates well with the vent..

I do like the oem look of this but I really like the touch screen feature and the various displays and layouts you can have with the plx gauge. looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I do like that one and was very close to getting it but decided I wanted the ability to monitor a few things at once. This is Texas and during the summer I really need to keep an eye on all temps. Can heat an intake pretty quick here. I had seen IATs to 252* on one of my non-intercooled Mark VIII builds before. Knew it was time to stop having fun.

If I ever get around to it; this is the solution I've been looking at. Don't know about availability though.

They have changed the status from "Backorder" to "Already Reordered".

Another option would be a Pioneer AppRadio + DashCommand:
