Flood car selling in NJ salvage sale Wednesday

    http://www.copart.com/us/Lot/3362035...chId=197485342

Says it runs and drives with 75,000 miles. I'd be tempted up to $7-$8K if I didn't have my other car.

I bet it is not dissimilar from what mine was like (because it could move under its own power albeit rough...), drain oil and trans fluid of water, refill the fluids and see what you get, you might not even have a valve train problem. Mine was totaled out after no real examination of root cause. New owner just put in a new engine out of abundance of caution.
RS6 #1 904959, Daytona, Silver, tons of "stuff," went through puddle, dead engine, end of #1 for me, rebuilt by local enthusiast and thriving.
RS6 #2 904568, Avus, Ebony, no stuff, stock minus RNS-E.

If I had an extra garage space I'd drive down and look at it, hmmmm, not that hard to build a shed I guess.

Are you asking about mine or this one, mine had a puddle wash (from oncoming traffic) wash into the two air intakes and it perfectly sucked in a big gulf of water...not good. I never was submerged.
