    Which control arm kit?

It seems that no matter how much people spend on control arm kits most don't seem to last too long. So what price is the the right price? Do you pay $1200 plus and need to replace them in 20k miles? Or pay $600 and consider them more "disposable"? Even what I read about spending more on Meyle HD or 034 density etc. they don't necessarily seem to outlive cheaper ones by any large amount. Or do you get the $160 ebay kit since it's not much work to replace if you are DIY and just put in new ones once a year? Just throwing it out there.

It's just the front uppers' bushings that fail early and you can get just the bushings replaced...all the rest last plenty long.
RS6 #1 904959, Daytona, Silver, tons of "stuff," went through puddle, dead engine, end of #1 for me, rebuilt by local enthusiast and thriving.
RS6 #2 904568, Avus, Ebony, no stuff, stock minus RNS-E.
