Cool A little update and your last chance for Germany stuff!

So the complete (pretty much replaced everything engine wise for electronics and seals, ect ect) maintenance is done. The car is running superb, but I seriously can not figure out why the car is running so much hotter. It's getting freezing over here in Germany and my car (when playing around) is running roughly 80 degrees hotter, than what it would be if I was playing around during the summer! I did have one semi faulty (would work then not work) EGT sensor, which was replaced. Any ideas as to why the car is running hotter?

Three side notes for you all

    1. I'm leaving Germany very soon (roughly 2 months max- no leave date because I'm in the wounded warrior unit) so if you guys need any parts or whatever, then let me know, because I just found out I have 5k pounds shipping limit and lets just say...I have A LOT of extra weight to spare. I'm not looking to make any money or whatever, just trying to help some fellow RS6 fans out.

    2. Once again looking for an RS6. Yes I could buy one off any car dealership or online site, but I figured I would ask you guys first just incase there were some lurkers not sure if they wanted to sell the beast or not. It would go to a good loving home

    3. This isn't the proper form, but in the near future (2 months..ish) I'm looking to part out some of my RS6 parts, since I've *aquired* through an unfortunate lower enlisted Soldier coming of deployment that bought one and can't afford it. I'd be looking to sell my front two seats (nearly flawless condition) a complete wheel, caliper, brake, tire, rim set up all of which is BRAND NEW. all trimming, which is wood grain, spare tire and OEM 18 rims (fair condition). There are a few other items, but like I said I'm not selling them immediately, just thought I would give you fellas a heads up.

Sorry for the long post, but can't wait to do a meet up and bring the beast back stateside!

Hey GreyYork, I would love to have a set of carpeted floor mats with the RS6 logo embroidered on them. Cannot find them in the States. Do they have them in Germany?

I'd love some Ecode headlights and ecode taillights as well. Floor mats would be sweet as well.

How are you measuring your temps? By Vagcom coolant temps? What kind of temps are you seeing? Anything else besides the EGT sensors replaced? How about timing belt/water pump? So are you selling your Euro RS6 and looking to buy a U.S. spec when you get back?

No I have a US spec RS6, I'm looking at the Oil temp sorry, and everything under the sun was replaced. Water pump, timing belt, O2 sensors, power steering pump, hoses, clams, random nuts and bolts. I just decided to do a complete overhaul of it, since I never could see how well it was maintained by the last 2 owners. (besides records), which don't go into detail about how the turbos are and what not. Also I'm not looking to sell any RS6's. I love the car too much, the body style is cooler to me, than new versions..but I am looking at another RS6.

NOTE: I received several messages fairly quickly about parts, so I'm going wait a few days and compile a list to talk to Audi about. I'm only an hour and a half away from the factory/musem.....or 45 minutes away in RS6 terms..

With you guys an the floor mats and the lights, yeah I will check on that, I would Monday, but like I said; I've had a several people contact me in messages so far and I would rather wait and try and get the list as big as I can before I go asking about stuff and or purchasing it.

I think the genuine C5 RS6 floormats are hard to get even in Germany. I bought a set while over there and when installing back home found out they were for a regular C5, Transmission tunnel is bigger on the RS6. So they fit but a bit of a stretch. The embroidery was great but like I said, our tunnel has a little bigger bow for the larger bellhousing/TC and room for the Turbos.

Well...the perks of having an US spec RS6 in Germany is, I can make sure it's the right one before I put any money down! I didn't know they made them. I'm getting me a set now.

Do you think you could find the RS6+ exterior trim? Window surrounds, under headlight bits, and tailgate trim all for an Avant.

I'd be interested in the 5 spoke rs6+ titanium finish wheels; 19x9 ET35....And a head rest for the center rear seat.

Assuming OE rotors? How much you looking for, for the full set?

Also in line for a set of RS6 embroidered floor mats (given reasonable price)

center armrest cover with black leather? the plastic hinges on mine are in ~20 pieces in the bottom of the armrest

CF ashtray cover? or if you're willing to split the interior trims, the wood grain one so I can send off to OCarbon?

I'm sure there's many other bits and pieces but thats what I'm looking for at the moment

Oh, any chance of RS6/RS6+ wall decor (aus deutsche ist sehr gut!)? Moved into a place with a finished garage thats _JUST_ large enough to accomodate the RS6 (think 3" room on passenger side and just enough room to open driver door to first bumpstop, about 9 inches from license plate to back of the garage and 3 inches from the rear bumper to the garage door inside handle)

There is literally all of the above mentioned items, and not hard to find. but due to the size of everyones requests, I can ship it over from here for free, but then you'd have to pay for shipping from Texas. Unless you're the only serious one on buying a bulk item, then I can send it to you directly. Because the Army isn't going to let me ship to 20 different places. 3 max. and two are reserved for me haha.

Everything depends on pricing. Thankfully not looking for any large items, but I know the rotors would be heavy. USPS will ship flat rate boxes, I've found that I can stack a pair of rotors in their largest box for shipping at $14.95/box IIRC. PM me with pricing for the above items and I'll let you know which (hopefully all) I can swing. Getting married next month, so lots of bills are piling on at the moment.

Note to everyone since I have about 15 requests right now, which isn't impossible to ship, but I will not pay for your items and have you turn around to say "I don't want them anymore" "or I can't afford them" not talking directly about you Other_Erik, but in General. I'm trying to do a favor and I would hate to go out christmas shopping for everyone, then be in massive RS6 debt lol.

Side note, for the new items like floor mats I'm going up to Audi. For seats and what not, I can pick them up here and there..no one wanted them brand new right? and as figures stand it looks like I'm *if everyone decides to get what they are asking about* 1k pounds left. (that's leaving 500 pounds for me incase I need to pick something up..

Update, besides the trim, which I just sent out a mass text to the euro RS6 guys asking about, I found everything including decor! the mats are expensive, so we're also asking around for used ones (obviously good conditioned) and worst comes to worst, I have VAT forms so that takes 19% off everything I buy in Germany... Idk if you guys have this in the states, but I found a specific RS6 leather keychain. all the dealerships I've been to have only had s versions or sline...Ill attach a picture of mine in a minute..
