    Friend of mind sent me this. He reminded me I don't have a silver one yet.

    So what is the breakpoint between early and late? What is the real difference at the end of the day?

    DHalll1 has the VIN's......difference is about $5000 at the end of the day...

    There was a factory upgrade to the TC seals it seems, once they started seeing failures. Mr. DHall has documented this occurred around vin #905550.

    By this standard, mine is early. 905172.

    Transmission is perfect at 72000 though, and just replaced trans oil and old stuff was nice still. Hoping for the best...
