How to open a bottle of bubbly?

    Hi,

With Christmas around the corner, I find myself struggling to open a bottle of bubbly (Champagne) without it fizzing up and causing a mess, leaving a tiny amount in the bottom of the bottle.

So, does anyone have any tips or hints as to how a bottle of bubbly should be opened this Christmas?

A short guide how to open a bottle of champagne...

    1. Remove the protecting aluminium cover and the cork holder.
    2. Put your hand over the cork so it's facing straight into your palm.
    3. Slowly turn the bottle and hold on too the cork and when you feel the cork starting to pop out of the bottle - let it do so slowly and into your palm.

    Good luck!
