11.49 secs is not bad in the 1/4 mile...

    Will it last?

I would hope it's only the tyres that'll need replacing..But that can never be guaranteed with aftermarket work. I guess that's an area where the RS6 wins.

Here's some more info from the tuner.

It would eat a RS 6 to be sure But it would still not be a RS 6 As for warranty i think HPA warranties ALL there work for 2 years. These are the very same people who brought us the 450 HP Corvette slaying Beetle:bigeyes: Motor trend did an article on that Beast as well (a much longer one) and they seem to think very highly of HPA (that or HPA pays them big bucks to say nice things ) and love there products.

    Thumbs up

    HEhe,

Indeed, I saw that Golf on the cover of a carmagazine in my local bookshop. It was shown without the hood, nice view that was

    Biturbo technology owns

THE Uber Golf still is the one by Dahlbach racing, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the car tested by Peter Sundfeldt. I met that guy at the Nurburgring once. He and another guy were there for testing the Porsche PCCB-brakes. They drove a GT2. I had a short chat with those guys, they were very sympathetic. I made some nice pictures of that GT2, had also the chance to photograph the interior of the car. I managed to take a nice picture of the Porsche when it drove through Hatzenbach. I will post the pictures during the weekend.

    Take care

    Cowboy,

Nice shots! Nice to see you keep to your promises too...

I always thought the pre-2004 GT2s weren't worth the extra $$$ over the Turbo, but the 2004 GT2 changes that with the clubsport option, which includes a carbon fibre rear wing and mirrors along with a couple other "GT2 only" touches.

Thanks for sharing those...Might be worthy of it's own thread?

Yeah, nice car. Note that the 107 ft. brake stomping is done with the stock brakes. The only mod to them was cross drilling the existing rotors and possibly different pads.

    Hi Guys

    Thanks for the response.

Many thanks for the link Erik, I didn't know that Peter Sundfeldt has his own website. Good to know.

Yea Klint, it was a hard time searching for the pics. I needed a weekend for it

They drove 2 till 4 laps each time. Then they left the circuit for a short period, think that needed some petrol after a few flying laps

The GT2 was just released or was about to be released in the very near future, no need to say that the car was a magnet when it appeared at the car park of the Nurburgring and it had a swedish number plate on it

Hope I can buy myself a professional camera (Nikon or Canon) around the summertime. A good camera with a zoom lens.

Klint, If you like to make a seperated thread of it please do then. No Problem.

    Take Care
