Welcome, looking forward to read your posts!
Wow  - could you try and make the signature a little bit smaller, like half size in height?

    Thanks!

I have a good deal of knowledge about what goes on with the TT on this side of pond, I am hoping to learn some things about some of the Euro parts that are available.

How about some pics? I could not tell which one of the TT's was yours that was in your sig.....

Here is a pic of mine...

Nice other woman aswell! See that you have placed the gauges the same way as I have! The car looks great, is a -02 or? Those seats were not avaliable from the start of production, were they?

272hp at the wheels means about 350 in the engine, or? Thats where im headning with mine aswell!

IŽll try to get get my pictures up later on tonight (maybe morning where you live )

It is a 2001 but the seats are recovered....not factory.

272 works out to about 310 at the crank on 93 Octane fuel (12% drivetrain loss for a fwd)

The dyno linked above shows my 100 Octane run as well, that came to 306 wheel hp, approx 350hp at the crank.

    Thanks for the compliments!

    Ok, that explains it!

I thought it was a quattro! Then its about 20-25% drivetrain loss. Thats what I have to suffer.

How is the gearbox handling all of that power? :MTM: No problems or have you reinforced it in any way?

I did a quaife differential, kevlar 6 puck clutch and a lightened flywheel (11lbs)

The car is tricky in first gear but any other gear is OK...the APR kit is so linear that it is actually easier to drive than a chipped K03 turbo.

Im going to lighten my flywheel aswell and change from a (not sure of the spelling) dual mass to a single mass.

Sounds good that its linear, you dont want that AllAtOnce effect!

Have yuo done any 1/4 mile racing? If so what where the results?
