I drove Special Sauce in Virginia before Todd sold it to someone up in Mass. Todd had the tuning and fuel injectors dialed in by EPL and Stephen added in a complete Dahlback Racing kit which cost 40K + new before he sold it to Todd. Special sauce is QUICK!

The biggest problem with heavily modding seems to be driveability. Plenty of people have gone for the upgraded turbos, cooling, fuel, tune, but the problem is the slush box can't handle that no matter what mods are done to it. Then you get into 6 speed realm and loose the luxury and ease of an auto box when cruising around town or stuck in traffic.
