cross post from audizine used c7 s6,s7,rs7 prices in the market

It is interesting to see the differences between used s6 and s7 prices on the market. What do you folks who bought new think about the resale value or depreciation of your vehicles.

    s6 from auto trader - 42 listings
    Highest Price: $84,997
    Lowest Price: $57,900
    Average Price: $71,674

    s7 34 listings
    Highest Price: $99,995
    Lowest Price: $74,888
    Average Price: $82,029

the s7 is starting to trend with at least ten listings in the 70's. The s6 with 11k miles for 57K is the low price shocker. The 99k is modded s7 for another 6-7k you can buy an rs7.

    rs7 32 listings
    Highest Price: $144,790
    Lowest Price: $108,245
    Average Price: $119,449

I might as well provide some perspective as what 11 year old rs6 models are going for

    42 listings
    Highest Price: $50,000
    Lowest Price: $12,000
    Average Price: $24,101

I already have my heart set on selling my beast as a down payment on a s7. When I saw my first 7 series in person it has to be one of the sexiest body styles along with 5 series of any car maker. Relatively I spent in the sixties for my beast with 19k miles in 2006, will have to spend in the seventies for an s7. Stock performance fairly close to my chipped rs6 and much better than our stock rs6. Apr chipped 3.5 and 11.6 in the quarter better than most of the modded rs6 and guess what most of the s7 are certified to 100k miles. I haven't driven a chipped s7 and find it hard to believe it will have as much torque as the beast. But it is certainly more reliable, no more 1k to do a gasket replacement with 200 in gaskets and 800 in labor. And my warranty will expire at 100k miles so I have 79k today. What is funny the interior of my rs6 in every other place other than the drivers side looks brand new. Leather is perfect. On my side I have rubbed the paint on something like the light switch, 11 years old sigh.... I think it will be a nice stepping stone to a used rs7, 10.6 in the quarter mile on 93 octane oh my.

The later model S8 V10's are actually holding a lot of value right now on a related note.

Dab, did you only search in your area? I searched all the US, 2013-2015 and got about 250 listings for s6's. I'm excited.

yep, I searched any mileage. The sight was autotrader. What site did you use? Glad I can help. Spend some time on the audizene (sp?) they have some very sweet modded s6. Seems to be where the young money is, at least 4 or 5 rs7 some already modded.
